In "Fire in His Fingertips: My Childhood Friend is a Fireman," Ryou Fujihashi wakes up to find her apartment on fire, leaving her trapped with no way out. She desperately tries to get someone's attention until the fire department arrives and rescues her. By chance, among the firefighters is her childhood friend, Souma Mizuno. Although Ryou once had feelings for him, those faded due to his reputation as a ladies' man. With her home and belongings destroyed, Souma offers her a place to stay with him. Living under the same roof as her former crush forces Ryou to establish clear boundaries, as Souma's advances could easily lead to a romantic situation. Yet, his unwavering attention makes Ryou reconsider whether a spark still exists between them. However, staying close to Souma means frequent encounters with the other handsome firefighters at the station. Despite Souma's focused interest in Ryou, she must guard against potential distractions from the other attractive men around her.
