Synopsis

Continues the story of The Legend of Hei

In "The Legend of Hei," Luo Xiaohei, a young monster who typically looks like a small black cat, is forced to leave his forest home due to human expansion and deforestation. Wandering the city, he meets Feng Xi, another monster who leads him to a hidden island where a close community of creatures lives. Just as Xiaohei begins to feel comfortable, Wuxian, a human Guild Executor, arrives to hunt Feng Xi. When Feng Xi and his group escape using teleportation, Xiaohei is left behind with Wuxian. Though reluctant to help the hunter of his newfound friends, Xiaohei ends up traveling with Wuxian toward the Guild. This uncertain journey gives Xiaohei a fresh perspective on the changing relationship between humans and monsters in a world undergoing major transformation.

In this installment

One rainy night, a young girl named Luo Xiaobai takes in a homeless little black cat and names the cat Luo Xiaohei. But Luo Xiaohei is no ordinary feline: he is a supernatural being that hosts several small creatures called Heixiu. Luo Xiaohei's new life is soon threatened by the mysterious Diting, who commands three winged wolves.
