Yuusha Raideen

Synopsis

After resting for 12,000 years, the Demon Empire awakens and sets its sights on conquering Earth. Reideen, the giant mecha guardian of the lost continent Mu, detects this evil force and rises from its golden tomb. Reideen contacts Akira Hibiki, a young Japanese boy who is the last descendant of the ancient Mu people, and tells him he must team up with Reideen to protect the planet. Akira is joined by his companions, such as Mari Sakurano—the daughter of a scientist battling the Demon Empire—and several members of his high school soccer team.
