Bumblebee Hajimete no Chikyuu Seikatsu

Synopsis

In collaboration with the Japanese theatrical release of the Bumblebee movie, the Transformers character Bumblebee starts a new journey across Japan, joined by fresh chibi versions of himself designed by Pop Team Epic's Bkub Okawa and animator Yuzo Yamamoto. This prequel to the Transformers film series focuses on Hailee Steinfeld's character, Charlie Watson, a high school girl who meets the Autobot Bumblebee in 1987. With his voice box damaged and his memory failing, Bumblebee hides by taking the form of an old Volkswagen Beetle. When Charlie receives the Beetle as a birthday present, she discovers Bumblebee's true nature and gives him the nickname "Bumblebee." But his presence draws the Decepticon pair Shatter and Dropkick, who ally with Sector 7 to track down the Autobot. The film premiered in Japanese theaters on March 22, 2019.
