Synopsis

Continues the story of Tiger & Bunny

In the metropolis of Stern Bild, individuals with special powers are known as NEXT, using their abilities for either heroic or criminal purposes. A select group of these NEXT appear on Hero TV, pursuing villains to earn points for their sponsors and compete for the title of King of Heroes. Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, also called "Wild Tiger," is a veteran hero whose performance has recently declined, partly due to his difficulty working with others. After a lackluster season where his colleagues far outperformed him, Tiger is paired with a new partner, Barnaby Brooks Jr., who goes by his real name as his hero alias. Nicknamed "Bunny" by his laid-back partner, Barnaby quickly proves to be very different from Tiger. In spite of their opposing natures, Tiger and Bunny must learn to cooperate, both for the sake of their careers and to face the growing dangers in their city.

Upon Kotetsu's return to the First League, HeroTV launches a partnership program as its main new initiative. Mirroring the renowned duo of Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks Jr., two heroes will now work together to fight crime. With new heroes joining the lineup in Sternbild City, both veteran protectors and fresh recruits face trials that test their abilities and reveal the true meaning of teamwork in defending their city.
