Synopsis
In Hinomoto, humans have lived under the illusion of peace for 150 years, controlled by demonic deities who secretly enslave them. Musashi spends his days mining for these beings, but harbors a hidden desire for freedom, believing the samurai are humanity's only hope. He hides his true feelings, growing apart from his childhood friend Kojirou Kanemaki, until graduation. When Musashi starts working at the mine with his peers, he is horrified by the brutal conditions and suspicious overseers. Yet he endures with Kojirou's support. After the demon leader wreaks havoc in the quarry, Musashi is saved by the Takeda samurai clan. Renewed with purpose and a thirst for adventure, he sets out to become a samurai and build his own clan.

Orient was released on Blu-ray in Japan in three volumes from March 25, 2022 to May 27, 2022.
