First Love Monster

Synopsis

In "First Love Monster," Kaho Nikaidou starts her freshman year as a member of a wealthy family. Because of her background, everyone around her has always treated her cautiously, never wanting to cause trouble. Wanting to experience honest relationships without her family's influence, Kaho decides to live in a dormitory when the new school term begins. Shortly after arriving, Kaho almost gets hit in the street, but a tall, handsome stranger pulls her to safety. Intrigued, she asks for his name, but he simply calls her weird and walks away. His blunt attitude fascinates her, and she finds herself falling for the mysterious boy. When they meet again, Kaho learns his name is Kanade Takahashi and immediately confesses her feelings. He agrees to be her boyfriend but warns her that she might change her mind once she learns his secret. The truth shocks Kaho: Kanade is actually a fifth grader. Though she initially plans to break up over this, Kaho gradually grows closer to Kanade, charmed by his pure and warm personality. "First Love Monster" follows Kaho as she experiences her first romance with Kanade, her young but endearing partner.
