Synopsis
Kikuru Madan, one of the most veteran members of the Mebuki guild, laments having squandered his youth and longs for a normal life. Yet he hesitates to retire, fearing the guild's fate without his leadership. By coincidence—almost as if to aid in finding his replacement—guild receptionist Enome assigns Kikuru four new recruits: the energetic beastwoman Hitamu "Hitamuki" Kyan, the gifted Maidena Ange, the easygoing Toxico Dannar, and the dependable Hanabata Nohkins. While each newcomer shows impressive skill, they all have flaws—most notably Hitamu's social awkwardness and Hanabata's unintentionally suggestive behavior. To make matters worse, the monsters beyond Mebuki's walls begin acting strangely, lecherously targeting women, creating numerous problems for the party. Despite these obstacles, Kikuru remains determined to retire soon, making the training he provides these rookies absolutely vital.
