Synopsis

After spending three years in a coma from a car accident, Haruka Suzumiya is released from Keyaki General Hospital. With the encouragement of her caring family and her loyal boyfriend Takayuki Narumi—who broke off a new relationship that started while she was unconscious to be with her again—Haruka gradually adjusts to returning to normal life. Still, Haruka worries she might be holding Takayuki back and proposes they separate, ultimately leaving him behind on a departing train. Determined to become a children's picture book author, she throws herself into preparing for university entrance exams. Meanwhile, Takayuki strives to find steady employment amid ongoing economic hardship. Even though their paths seem to go in different directions, will Takayuki and Haruka find their way back to each other?
