Katayoku no Khronos Gear

Synopsis

The story takes place in the near future, not far from the present day, where humanity has completed an orbital elevator and begun earnest development of the outer planets. A mysterious extraterrestrial enemy called "Obliquus" has targeted the solar system, plunging humanity into a state of war with the first aliens it has ever encountered. To counter the enemy's overwhelming technological advantage, the Khronos Foundation gathers the descendants of heroes from around the world—from Japan's Musashi Miyamoto and Ryōma Sakamoto to France's Napoleon and Joan of Arc. The foundation then merges these descendants with "Gear" battle suits as specialized biological weapons, giving rise to "Khronos Gear."
