Synopsis
In the world of professional sumo, where size and strength dominate and there are no weight classes, the talented but undersized Hinomaru Ushio aims to reach the sport's highest level, the rank of Hinoshita Kaisan. Despite his skill and determination, Ushio does not meet the official height and weight standards for entering the professional league. His only path to a professional career is to earn the prestigious High School Yokozuna title, given to the most outstanding high school wrestler. With limited time and growing pressure, Ushio knows that failing to succeed in high school tournaments could permanently close the door to his dream. Rather than joining Ishigami High, the nation's top sumo school, he chooses Odachi High, where he must build a sumo club with only one dedicated teammate, Shinya Ozeki. As an unlikely contender in the competitive sumo world, Ushio must use every bit of his strength and persistence to forge his way into the professional ranks.
