Kashou no Tsuki: Aki Kyougen

Synopsis

Young Arimasa Tsuchimikado takes in an injured cat and wishes for it to become human. The cat, Kagetsu, belongs to the shape-shifting Kouga tribe and ultimately comes to live with Arimasa. Over the years, Arimasa struggles to find his place in the village—feared and despised because of his half-fox lineage, yet depended on for defending against supernatural threats. Meanwhile, Kagetsu faces a crucial decision: choosing a permanent gender, a choice that can only be finalized through sexual intercourse. As internal conflict and pressure from other Kouga clan members mount, a massive supernatural assault targets Arimasa’s village. Threatened by this attack, Arimasa must make difficult choices to protect both his home and Kagetsu.
