After returning home, Rumi and Tomoko's father finds himself struggling with an overwhelming attraction to the now-adult Tomoko. Though he attempts to restrain his emotions, he works together with Takedo to preserve the family's harmony.

Katori takes interest in Koshiro, a new male student at her university, recognizing him as the man who once saved her younger sister from a group of rapists. Yet rumors circulate on campus that Koshiro is having improper relations with faculty members and holds a secret resentment toward both the institution and Katori's mother. As Koshiro's scheme advances, Katori, together with her sister and mother, becomes caught up in the resulting conflict.
