Kogorou Akechi operates a private investigation firm called the Boy Detectives' Club, handling cases of all scales. While working on one such case, junior member Kensuke Hanasaki encounters Yoshio Kobayashi, an enigmatic boy who can survive any injury yet recalls nothing of his past. Fascinated by Yoshio's immortality, Kensuke proposes a bargain: Yoshio will join the club to assist with investigations, and Kensuke will help him find a way to end his eternal life. Though initially reluctant and indifferent to others, Yoshio agrees, unaware of how deeply this choice will change him. As he bonds with his new teammates through their detective work, Yoshio slowly learns to value human connections. Inspired by Edogawa Ranpo’s "Shounen Tanteidan," this story follows Akechi and the Boy Detectives' Club as they solve countless mysteries while facing a hidden menace—the Fiend with Twenty Faces.
