Kiku-chan to Ookami

Synopsis

Kiku-chan to Ookami is an adaptation of Akiyuki Nosaka's short story "Toshi-Oi Mesu-Okami to Onna no Ko no Hanashi," which is translated as "The Story of the Old Mother Wolf and the Girl," written by the same author who wrote "Grave of the Fireflies." The story takes place in the wartime fields of Manchuria and centers on a young girl and a maternal wolf that looks after her.
