Synopsis
Despite his exceptional talent, Allen fails the final exam to become a royal court sorcerer, leaving him broke and without prospects after returning home. Through a former teacher's assistance, he lands an unusual job as the private tutor for Tina, the daughter of the influential Duke Howard. While Tina excels in academics, she cannot use magic at all—a critical skill for her upcoming entrance exams to the Royal Academy. Previous tutors have been unable to resolve this problem. Allen sets out to discover why she cannot wield magic, uncovering unexpected revelations along the way.
