Synopsis
In "Selection Project," Suzune Miyama has spent much of her youth confined to bed due to a fragile heart, but she never gives up on her dream of becoming an idol. Her opportunity arrives with the seventh Selection Project, a tough competition famous for launching the career of the renowned idol Akari Amasawa. Although her powerful vocals impress both the judges and fellow competitors, Suzune falters during her first performance, overwhelmed by stage fright. She quickly recovers, but the mistake leads to her elimination. Surprisingly, Seira Kurusu, the contestant who outperformed Suzune, chooses to withdraw from the competition, believing that Suzune's talent is greater than her own and deserves to be recognized. Encouraged by Seira's selfless gesture, Suzune promises to meet her again as a successful idol and prepares to face the challenges ahead.
