Ange Vierge

Synopsis

In the five linked worlds—Black, White, Green, Red, and Blue—the balance kept by the Halo breaks when it suddenly opens during the World Connect event. This disaster threatens the universe, making the realms call on girls with special abilities, called Exceeds, to fight Ouroboros, an alien force trying to speed up the cosmos' destruction. Among those chosen is Saya Sougetsu, from the Blue World, Earth. Seeing this as a chance to help, Saya joins the defense forces, where she meets Amane Ayashiro, also from Earth, along with fighters from the other worlds. To face the powerful enemy, the girls must show that their new alliances are strong enough to protect the future.

Background

Ange Vierge is based on the trading card game of the same title. The series was released on Blu-ray and DVD in three volumes from October 28, 2016, to February 24, 2017.
