Synopsis
An anime commemorating the 500th anniversary of Columbus reaching the New World. Christopher Columbus is a man of unwavering determination. His life is filled with dramatic events. Born in Genoa, he pursues his ambition to become a sailor, ventures to find a new sea route, and ultimately achieves his objective, discovering a new land along the way. Alternating between moments of hopelessness and exhilaration, his journey is truly remarkable. Note: The series originally aired in Italy on Canale 5 from November 28, 1992 to March 30, 1993. In Japan, it aired exactly ten years later from November 28, 2002 to March 30, 2003.
