Continues the story of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2
After triumphing in the First-Class Mage Examination, the trio—elven mage Frieren, warrior Stark, and newly promoted first-class mage Fern—sets out for the perilous Northern Plateau on their journey to Aureole. Stark faces formidable foes that challenge his self-assurance, a trial that ultimately strengthens his determination and cements his position as the group's primary defender. Fern reflects on the many gifts she has gathered, viewing each as a token of the people she holds dear. Meanwhile, Frieren remains committed to comprehending human nature, recalling her time with the Hero's party and a brief meeting with a renowned figure. As she contemplates the flow of time, she wonders if she has truly evolved, yet subtle signs suggest she may be more human than she admits.
