In the North Pacific, Lucia rules as the mermaid princess of one of the seven mermaid realms. She gives a magical pearl to a boy who falls into the sea from a sinking ship. Determined to get her pearl back and protect her kingdom along with the others, Lucia goes into the human world. Using music as her weapon, she defends against the rising darkness that endangers the mermaid kingdoms.

Following the defeat of Gaito, Sara made the ultimate sacrifice to stay by his side, securing peace across the ocean realm and leaving it under the protection of only six mermaid princesses. As Caren, Noel, and Coco return to their own territories, Lucia, Hanon, and Rina get ready to do the same. Their farewell becomes even more painful because of Mitsuki Tarou's move to Germany and Doumoto Kaito's departure for Hawaii. Lucia feels especially heartbroken over these goodbyes, and her sorrow deepens when Kaito goes missing at sea. Adding to the confusion is the appearance of a mysterious angel named Michel, who urges the mermaids to follow him. In the midst of this upheaval, Sara's spirit reveals that a young mermaid named Seira will succeed her, marking the beginning of a new journey.
