You Don't Know Gunma Yet

Synopsis

Nori Kamitsuki moves from Chiba to Gunma Prefecture to reunite with Otoya Todoroki, a childhood friend who relocated there during their elementary school years. On his way, Kamitsuki receives a threatening message from Todoroki warning him to give up his trip, claiming that anyone who enters Gunma never leaves. Disregarding the warning, Kamitsuki starts his new school life and forms new friendships. These friends dedicate themselves to disproving every negative stereotype about Gunma, showing Kamitsuki the prefecture's unique qualities through its local cuisine, notable landmarks, the oddities of everyday school life, and the distinct characteristics of its residents. Although Gunma is often ranked as Japan's least popular prefecture, it seems many have yet to truly understand what it has to offer.
