Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show

Synopsis

Miko Kurono, a low-key streamer known as "Necronomico," builds a small audience through her gaming streams while raising funds to cover medical expenses for her comatose friend, Mayu Mayusaka. Several other popular streamers have also fallen into comas under similar circumstances. Strapped for cash, Miko accepts an invitation to a secret beta test of a cutting-edge VR game. After clearing the first stage, she and six other streamers encounter the Old Ones—ancient, malevolent deities trapped within the virtual realm, plotting to conquer Earth. When Miko discovers that Cthulhu, one of these gods, has taken Mayu's form and is the cause of her condition, she becomes enraged and vows to confront this threat. The group becomes ensnared in the Cosmic Horror Show, a sinister contest where humanity faces annihilation if all participants are defeated. Despite the peril, Miko remains determined to win the game and claim a wish that could save Mayu.
