Synopsis
Beneath a massive tree, an elderly vendor and a young rival set up stands to sell apples side by side. The old man's apples were large and vividly red, while the younger man's, though appealing on the surface, were full of wormholes. Even with the same prices, the elder's warm demeanor drew more customers. To boost his own sales, the young vendor cut his prices and cleverly arranged only the best-looking parts of his apples in view, eventually attracting more buyers. After the day's trade, both men boarded the same ferry to head home. On the boat, the younger man once again tried to cheat the elder. But a sudden wave overturned the ferry, throwing everyone into the water. As the older man discarded his heavy money bag to stay afloat, the younger man saw this and courageously risked his own life to retrieve the purse.
