After being reborn as Aiko, a former soldier eventually rises to command a fresh crusade with the goal of uniting the world and abolishing all religions. Plagued by recollections of her prior existence, she journeys back through time and becomes caught up in a vast struggle to protect what lies ahead.

In 1212 AD, during the crusades, a guileless soldier is betrayed and jumps to his death, pledging to return as a fallen angel. In the present day, reborn as a woman named Aiko, the soldier rises as the military leader of a fresh crusade, succeeds in uniting the world and eradicating all religion. Plagued by recollections of a former life, Aiko journeys backward through time and finds herself embroiled in an intense conflict to safeguard the future.
