Uta no Prince Sama

Synopsis

In "Uta no Prince-sama," Haruka Nanami, a young composer from a rural area, dreams of creating music for her beloved idol, Hayato Ichinose. To pursue this goal, she enrolls at Saotome Academy, a prestigious school dedicated to cultivating talent in the performing arts. Upon arriving, Haruka discovers that all faculty members, including the principal, are active in the entertainment industry as idols, composers, or poets. She quickly finds herself surrounded by highly skilled aspiring idols and composers, with intense competition among them. The pressure intensifies due to the possibility of being discovered by the renowned Shining Agency upon graduation. As Haruka navigates her journey at the academy, a sequence of events one night brings her face-to-face with a mysterious figure bathed in moonlight, who seems oddly familiar to her.

Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 1000% was licensed for an English release as Uta no Prince-sama Season 1 by Sentai Filmworks. It was released on January 7th, 2014 with a DVD and Blu Ray edition.
