I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day
Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai
きみが死ぬまで恋をしたい
Synopsis
In the opening moments of class, the news of Sheena Totsuki's roommate's death is delivered casually, with daily life continuing as usual. At this orphanage where children are trained as soldiers, death is a familiar specter. The prolonged war shows no signs of ending, and each day sees more orphans dispatched to their fates on the battlefield. Unlike her peers, Sheena is profoundly affected by the relentless violence and longs for peace. The night her roommate passes, Sheena encounters a blood-soaked yet cheerful girl. The following day, this same girl, now introduced as Mimi Kagari, joins Sheena's class as a new student. Initially dismissed as a mere legend, Mimi is said to be the orphanage’s hidden asset—someone who cannot be killed. As Mimi becomes Sheena's new roommate, she expresses hope for a harmonious relationship and aims to fit into the school environment. Despite Mimi's nonchalant attitude towards the ongoing conflict, Sheena finds it hard to reconcile with the harsh reality of their world, even as an uncommon bond forms between them amidst the grim conditions.
