Synopsis
Continues the story of Tougen Anki
In ancient times, monstrous beings called Oni terrorized and slaughtered humans for their own twisted amusement. One man, Momotarou, rose up against these seemingly invincible creatures, igniting a conflict that would last for ages. Thousands of years later, Shiki Ichinose, a hot-tempered gun enthusiast, lives a carefree life until his expulsion from school changes everything. After being kicked out, Shiki is suddenly attacked by a mysterious assailant, only to be rescued by his adoptive father, Tsuyoshi. During their escape, Tsuyoshi reveals that Shiki is actually a descendant of the Oni, while Tsuyoshi and the attacker come from the bloodline of Momotarou. A brutal battle erupts between the two Momotarou descendants, ending with Tsuyoshi sacrificing himself to protect Shiki. Overcome with grief, Shiki taps into his inherited Oni powers, gaining immense strength but risking a loss of control. Though the enemy escapes, Naito Mudano, an Oni instructor at Rasetsu Academy, witnesses Shiki's abilities. With Mudano's guidance, Shiki must learn to master his Oni heritage if he hopes to avenge his father's death.
