B: The Beginning Succession
Synopsis
Continues the story of B: The Beginning
In the city-state of Cremona, a shadowy vigilante known as "Killer B" wreaks havoc with a blade and extraordinary abilities, dispensing justice while drawing both admiration and hostility. The Royal Investigation Service (RIS), unable to capture this outlaw, recruits Keith Flick—a talented but unorthodox detective reassigned to the Archives Department after a personal tragedy. As the killings shift from quiet eliminations of criminals to bold attacks on key figures, it becomes clear that multiple individuals are involved. Aided by his impulsive partner, Lily Hoshina, and surprisingly, Killer B, Keith delves into a web of conspiracies involving secret groups, domestic terrorism, and illegal human experimentation. As the RIS oversteps its bounds, the full extent of government corruption and the reliability of those around Keith come into question.
In this installment
In the first season of B: The Beginning, two men confronted their pasts at great personal cost. Detective Keith Flick struggled with his own demons and ultimately uncovered the hidden truths about the Kingdom of Cremona. Meanwhile, the mutant prodigy Koku reunited with a precious memory from his lost childhood. Several months after these chaotic events, the world seems to have returned to normal. Keith returns to the Royal Police to pursue his own investigations, and Koku along with Yuna strive for a regular and peaceful life. However, the repercussions of the Jaula Blanca experiments persist, as Koku discovers when his supposedly deceased lab partner Kirisame reappears.
