Synopsis

In Tokyo's Takamimi Shrine, which has stood for over 400 years, Elda—a magical elf from another world—serves as the local goddess. For fifteen generations, the duty of overseeing her affairs has been passed down within the same family since the Edo period, now falling to Koito Koganei on her sixteenth birthday. As Elda's new shrine maiden, Koito must balance her sacred responsibilities with her regular school life. The challenge arises from Elda's insatiable passion for video games, toy collecting, and snacking, and her refusal to leave the shrine. To coax the indifferent goddess into engaging more with the outside world, Koito carefully plans activities that indulge Elda's interests while also encouraging social interactions. Through this process, Koito learns more about the area's history and the deep respect and affection the townspeople hold for their whimsical and pampered deity.
