Even a Replica Can Fall in Love

Synopsis

Whenever Sunao is too ill or simply chooses not to attend school, a replica takes her place. This replica was born from Sunao’s desire to have a substitute, and she remains invisible to everyone except when summoned. Even though no one else can see her, she is completely devoted to Sunao. One day, she strikes up a conversation with Sanada, a classmate of Sunao’s, and they begin to develop a connection. Sanada eventually realizes that she is not the real Sunao. She asks him to speak to her only when her hair is tied halfway up. Sanada agrees, and they share enjoyable moments together. As their bond grows, she starts to develop romantic feelings for Sanada. However, she is troubled by the consequences of falling in love, knowing full well that she is merely a replica.
