I Will Be Normal Tomorrow

Synopsis

Included as a bonus feature on the DVD release of Indie Anibox: Selma Danbaekjil Coffee, this short was originally intended to offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Watashi no Coffee Samurai. Instead, it functions as an early pilot with a unique plot, featuring a mechanized girl and a transforming boy rather than a mechanized transforming boy and an ordinary girl. The concept was created by director Jang Hyeong-yoon over more than five years before being reworked into the full-length film Ulibyeol Ilhowa Eollugso. In the short, the mechanized girl fights kaijuu with the help of her giant flying bird, while the boy is a musician who confesses his romantic feelings to her. After he kisses her, she runs away because she fears that her dangerous job could endanger him if she reciprocates. Startled, he transforms into a milk cow. Eventually, they reconcile.
