Synopsis

The tale centers on a mysterious and perilous island known only as "G." Ages ago, a mighty deity named Gestalt was cast down to the mortal realm and took shelter on this very island. Speaking the god's name aloud is strictly forbidden, as the islanders dread his fury so deeply that they treat the name as a curse. Father Oliver, a priest who has abandoned his religious order, journeys to the island of G seeking the truth behind its secrets. There, he crosses paths with a young girl named Ohri, who proves to be highly skilled in the magical arts. Meanwhile, the head of Oliver's former order hires a dark elf named Suzu to hunt down the renegade priest and bring him back. Suzu locates him without much trouble, but she never counted on the formidable sorceress traveling at his side. Ohri quickly dispatches Suzu, allowing the girl and the Father to press onward. As if their journey weren't difficult enough, the island of G is teeming with monsters and magic-users who continually obstruct their path.
