Synopsis

Set in a world of everlasting twilight, the Tasogare Hotel serves as a waystation for souls caught between life and death. These spirits, uncertain of what lies ahead, must recover their forgotten pasts by finding hints left in their guest rooms. Most check out after a brief period, either passing on or going back to the world of the living, though a few stay for much longer. Neko Tsukahara, a calm and collected young woman, arrives as a guest at this unusual inn. With help from the hotel staff, she starts to uncover her own history and becomes deeply entangled in the struggles of the other residents. As she works to solve their problems and discover the hotel's hidden truths, Neko comes to understand that merely being a guest is not enough to satisfy her endless curiosity.
