Synopsis
Initially titled "Rescue Angel," Yomigaeru Sora was originally envisioned with a female lead and more detailed animation. However, after a vote among Yuji Matsukura, Katsushi Sakurabi, and Fumihiko Takayama went against Kiyoshi Sugiyama's preference, the narrative was changed to focus on a male protagonist and adopted a simpler animation style. The anime's original concept, devised by Sakurabi, was produced as a pilot episode and later included in the special edition of the seventh DVD volume.
