Synopsis
Takumi Miyasaka goes to Astro Lodge hoping to apply for a head chef position, but upon arrival finds it is a run-down boarding house instead. Despite his initial letdown, Takumi shows off his cooking skills, impressing the quirky residents. The landlady, Mira Gotokuji, is especially delighted by his dishes. As Takumi develops feelings for Mira, he agrees to become the breakfast chef and moves into Room 5. As time passes, Takumi notices strange behaviors in Mira—she has trouble with modern technology and Japanese cuisine. He also hears an odd voice coming from her room. Unknown to Takumi, Mira is actually an alien who recently arrived from another planet on an important mission.
