Synopsis
A clerical error in the afterlife reveals that the principal of Lilliard Music School is simultaneously claimed by both Heaven and Hell. Refusing to depart until he rescues his school from a corrupt new chairman, he strikes a deal: his soul will belong to whichever faction—Angels or Demons—assists him in reclaiming the institution through idol activities. The story chronicles the journey of three humans, three angels, and three demons as they endure grueling training to become elite idols on Earth.
Background
Angel ScandyS was the final project of legendary director Noboru Ishiguro (Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Macross), produced by his studio, Artland. The pilot episode had its world premiere at Otakon 2011 in Baltimore. However, following Ishiguro's death in March 2012 and Artland's subsequent financial struggles, the project was never expanded into a full TV series. It is currently considered unreleased media.
