Continues the story of Today in Class 5-2 (TV)
Picking up where the earlier OVAs of the same name left off, this anime revolves around the everyday antics of a fifth-grade class in room 5-2 as they start to navigate adolescence. The show is packed with playful games, comical pranks, and the amusing misunderstandings that arise from their developing curiosity about the opposite sex. Ryota Satou is the main character, but his friends are vital to how the story unfolds. Without those friends—especially the girls, who sometimes come across more mature but often turn out to be just as silly and occasionally even more troublesome than the boys—school life wouldn't be the same.

This OVA accompanied the limited edition release of the Kyou no Go no Ni manga tankobon as a bonus feature. The production staff and voice actors are identical to those from the television anime adaptation of Kyou no Go no Ni.
