Synopsis
When Shoutarou Tatewaki meets Sakurako Kujou, he feels his life is about to change. At first, he suspects her involvement in a recent disappearance in the area, but soon discovers her real interest: studying bones. Sakurako has an extensive collection of reassembled animal skeletons and a deep fascination with human remains, a hobby that often makes others uneasy. After Shoutarou starts working with the unconventional osteologist, they investigate a series of unsolved cases, frequently encountering decomposing bodies. As numerous strange incidents occur nearby, a larger mystery appears to be unfolding around them. In Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-, this unlikely duo demonstrates that while bones can reveal the story of a person's death, it takes living people to illuminate their lives.
