Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun

Synopsis

In a dystopian near-future, Japan is in ruins after being devastated by nuclear warfare, natural disasters, and deep-seated corruption that sparked a violent uprising. The shattered nation is now ruled by three competing superpowers, ushering in a new era reminiscent of the historical Three Kingdoms period. Diplomacy has been abandoned, replaced by ruthless battles for supremacy where each faction uses its formidable military forces and resources to dominate the remaining land. Aoteru Misumi, a previously inconspicuous minor official, is driven by an intense wish to halt the relentless bloodshed destroying the nation. Despite lacking royal ancestry or a martial background, Misumi aspires to reunite Japan through his sharp intellect and compelling speeches, aiming to rally the people. This is the origin tale of a future master military strategist.
