Within the prestigious halls of Hanzo Academy, a select group of students undergo covert ninja training to become part of the revered Shinobi Masters. Motivated by her wish to uphold her grandfather’s legacy, Asuka starts this demanding journey together with her unique companions: Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Yagyuu, and Hibari. Together, they dive into the hidden ninja arts, refining their abilities with the goal of becoming skilled kunoichi. Senran Kagura follows the courageous efforts of these young women as they face a sudden and dangerous threat looming over Hanzo Academy. Using their agility and dressed in tight-fitting outfits, they must demonstrate their strength and protect the academy from approaching destruction.
In this installment
This is the sophomore season of Senran Kagura. Young women train at institutions dedicated to modern-day shinobi, devoting their youth to mastering the path of a true ninja through constant combat that hones their abilities. One Christmas, Asuka—whose grandfather is a famed shinobi legend—crosses paths with an ancient monstrous entity called a Youma in Tokyo's backstreets. Light cannot exist without darkness. More than two dozen of the most powerful and generously endowed kunoichi ever, representing both righteous and wicked factions, will clash in a struggle to define what true justice means. That lethal conflict commences... at this very moment.
