Synopsis
In recent years, social media has been abuzz with rumors of mysterious beings called "Hologram Ghosts"—spectral figures described as distorted holograms that reportedly stalk countless individuals. Hiro Amanokawa, a middle school student at Hazakura Academy, dismisses these stories as just urban legends at first. But as the incidents grow more frequent, memories of his father's strange disappearance resurface. His father left behind only cryptic digital watches, and much like the ghostly encounters people talk about, the reason for his vanishing remains unexplained. When Hiro learns that a classmate has fallen victim to a Hologram Ghost attack, he and his friend Kiyoshirou Higashimitarai decide to investigate. Neither of them realizes that this journey will lead them into a dangerous world beyond anything humanity has known before.
