Love Me, Love Me Not

Synopsis

In the midst of a challenging spring break, Yuna Ichihara feels particularly down after bidding farewell to her dear friend Sacchan, who is moving away. Her spirits lift, however, when she catches sight of a boy who resembles a shoujo manga prince, her first love. This encounter leads to an unusual situation involving Akari Yamamoto, a new neighbor who soon becomes Yuna’s close friend. As they attend the same high school, Yuna starts to develop feelings for Akari’s brother, Rio, the mysterious and attractive young man she met earlier. Simultaneously, Akari finds herself attracted to Yuna’s playful childhood friend, Kazuomi Inui. However, navigating the complexities of their relationships proves difficult for each of them, as the interwoven dynamics among the four friends create obstacles. To unravel the truth about their feelings and connections, they must confront their personal struggles and disclose the secrets kept within their circle.

Background

Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare was originally slated to premiere on May 29, 2020, but was delayed to September 18, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The series was released on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on April 7, 2021.
