The anime presents an alternate version of the original story, depicting Maya Kitajima and her rival Ayumi Himekawa as delinquent girls who both strive to become the leader of the "Crimson Goddess" gang.

This is a continuation of Glass no Kamen Desu ga under a new name and with a different director. The delinquent angle has been dropped, and the series now presents the characters in a variety of humorous situations, some of which reference the original manga and other famous works.
