Synopsis
- They deserve better. Someone better than me... - The story unfolds one year before Ren's arrival in Kaminohara. Akira relocates from Sendai to Kaminohara, driven entirely by a desire for vengeance. The injuries his sister sustained during an MS battle fuel his thirst for retribution. A lost Haruma receives directions from Akira, which reveals a compassionate side to the typically distant and calculating teenager. Haruma watches Akira's fierce MS fights and notices that Akira battles by anticipating his opponents' moves. Haruma suggests recruiting Akira to their team, which consists of Aoi and Minami. Initially shocked and hesitant, Aoi and Minami decide to place their trust in Haruma. After all, Haruma has been holding off on choosing a fourth member for their group, saving the spot for the ideal person...
