Mina's Village Says Yes! to Waste Management

Synopsis

Continues the story of Mina's Village and the Forest

A severe forest fire puts Mina's family in danger, leading them to rescue Lolo, a baby monkey left orphaned and homeless by the flames. Shortly afterward, an environmentalist arrives at Mina's village to talk with the residents about the forest's significance. Inspired by this newfound awareness, Mina and the villagers commit to replanting trees in the area devastated by the fire.

In Mina's village, her household endures the death of their young goat, which died after eating a plastic bag discarded in the rice field. Moreover, many schoolchildren become sick and are absent from school because of problems arising from improper garbage disposal. In response to this emergency, the village residents assemble for a gathering to develop plans for better waste management.
