Synopsis

Continues the story of Wellber no Monogatari: Sisters of Wellber

A decade has passed since the great war, yet the kingdom of Wellber remains on a knife's edge, barely holding onto its fragile peace while the threat of renewed conflict looms with its neighbor, Sangatras. To avert another war, Wellber's King Haidel arranges a political marriage between his daughter, Princess Rita, and Prince Guernia of Sangatras. But at the ceremony, Rita turns on her would-be groom, stabbing him before fleeing the castle. Infuriated, Sangatras' King Ranbahnhof issues an ultimatum: unless Rita is captured and publicly executed within fourteen days, war will follow. Faced with this dire situation, Rita resolves to escape to the neutral nation of Greedom. Meanwhile, the thief Tina sneaks into Wellber Castle in search of treasure and happens to witness Rita's attack on Guernia firsthand. Whether by coincidence or fate, Tina learns that the "Wasp Man"—the enemy who took her parents' lives and whom she has long hunted—is currently in Greedom. Tina agrees to serve as Rita's bodyguard, and together the two set out on the road to Greedom, shouldering their own burdens of fate and destiny. What awaits them ahead: war or peace, vengeance or death...

Gyrano De Borgerac, the talkative sentient tank, appears thoroughly occupied receiving pampering from attentive maids, while the fairy Sherri also revels in the court's opulence. Meanwhile, Rita has reached the point where she must embrace her responsibilities as the princess of Wellber. However, Tina remains steadfast in her determination to continue hunting for the Man with a tattoo of Bee the Death, the devil who wiped out her family. An indescribable sorrow fills the hearts of the two girls, who have shared so much together, as they prepare to bid each other farewell. Then, on the day of Tina's departure, a new journey begins. She will traverse the still-aching scars left by the Great War that destroyed entire cities a decade ago, leading her toward an unexpected truth regarding her nemesis.
