Synopsis
Set in the 1920s, the world faces a new threat as demons emerge from the darkness. Only those possessing vast amounts of spirit energy stand a chance to save the Earth. The Flower Division has been deployed to eradicate these fiends, serving as humanity's sole hope for survival. Armed with innovative steam-powered machines and unique fighting techniques, they are the only ones capable of stopping the demonic invasion.
Background
Sakura Taisen: Ouka Kenran is an original story based off the first Sakura Taisen game. It won the Packaged Work Award at the 1998 Animation Kobe Awards.
