Synopsis
Continues the story of Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle
In "Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle," Saku Chitose appears to lead an ideal high school life. Charismatic, confident, and socially adept, he commands the admiration of his peers. However, his popularity is not without its downsides; not everyone views him positively, and there are whispers of distrust where he excels too visibly. For Saku, leading a flawed life is worse than ending it, driving his relentless pursuit of a perfect image. As his second year begins, Saku's homeroom teacher assigns him to assist in bringing back a classmate, Kenta Yamazaki, who has dropped out of school. Intending to resolve this swiftly, Saku finds that Kenta openly rejects him and all that he represents. What starts as a straightforward task unveils the divide between those who flourish under public scrutiny and those overlooked by it. Caught between the admiring and envious gazes of those around him, Saku navigates the delicate balance between authenticity and facade—seeking the true essence of living beautifully in a society that judges solely by appearances.
