Synopsis

Shouzou Saitou and his wife Ine have been married for nearly sixty years. Though they never accumulated great wealth or went on a honeymoon, their love has remained unwavering. The couple lead a quiet life caring for their apple orchard and receiving visits from their loyal family. One day, while fixing an apple tree damaged by a typhoon—the same tree they planted on their wedding day—they discover a golden apple. After bringing it home and eating it together, Shouzou and Ine wake up the next morning to find themselves turned back into their youthful bodies. In their new youthful appearance, they experience fun activities like taking part in a sports festival and playing video games together. As they relive the memories of their early relationship, their passion is reignited, which also evokes romantic feelings in the younger members of their family.
